April, 2004: Saint Joseph High School Hosts 350 Alumni and Friends at Donor Dedication Gala.

The Saint Joseph High School Donor Dedication Gala, held April 29th , was to recognize and thank the 980 donors who contributed nearly $7.3 million to the Building For the Next Century capital campaign. Over three hundred and fifty alumni and friends gathered at the new Vincent Maglio Gymnasium on campus.

The evening featured the unveiling of the new 50-foot Donor Wall that acknowledges the contributions of each and every benefactor to the campaign. It also provides a photo display of important events in the 43-year history of Saint Joseph High School. The success of the campaign enabled Saint Joseph High School to build the Vincent Maglio Gymnasium, The Micheal J. Cantanzaro Theater, the Zenga Library and Media Center, a Memorial Courtyard, and newly named science laboratories and classrooms.

Patricia and David Bixel ’66 served as Co-Chairs of the Gala. Special recognition was provided to Mr. Bixel for his outstanding leadership in planning and facilitating the capital campaign. Semple Bixel Associates congratulates and commends all volunteers and donors and looks forward to its continued partnership with the school. Future plans are underway for additional improvements in program and facility.
