Capital Campaigns
SBA develops a plan tailored to your special
needs. We direct all aspects of your capital fundraising program, prepare materials, help identify, research and
recruit prospects, develop a cultivation program, coach volunteers on solicitation techniques, establish gift recording
and acknowledgement protocols.
Feasibility and Implementation Studies
Capital campaigns are preceded by a feasibility study. The study determines:
• How much money you can raise • Who will lead your campaign • If your capital needs are compelling • When you should launch your campaignAn implementation study continually identifies and culti- vates prospective donors. The study yields new prospects, promotes your project, recruits additional leadership and grows your gift base.
SBA works with key volunteers to establish your vision. We
use a team approach, with up to four experienced consultants conducting interviews. Our team meets to analyze results,
verify data, and develop conclusions that lead to clear cut recommendations.
Annual Campaigns
SBA directs the planning process, builds your annual giving campaign and teaches your staff best practices in
fundraising. Working together with our clients, we create a calendar of activities, a budget and fundraising materials,
groom volunteers and steward donors.
Development Planning
SBA’s Resource Development Assessment© (RDA) is unique in the consulting business. We work
with a small study group composed of key staff and volunteers to review your current development program and together create
a plan you can call your own.
Educational Workshops and Training Sessions
SBA’s hands-on, participating workshops gives your board, staff and volunteers
the confidence and skills needed to be effective fundraisers. Our workshops and trainings include but are not limited
to: Philanthropy in America Today, Cornerstones of a Capital Campaign, Prospect Research, Planned Giving and Solicitation
Training.
