Gerald J. Pawlowski came to Semple
Bixel Associates, Inc. in 1998 as a skilled public relations and marketing executive. He served for many years as Director
of Public Relations/Marketing and Annual Fund/Development for West Hudson Hospital, Kearny, New Jersey. Earlier, he was Senior
Consultant for Bruno Associates, Newark, New Jersey, preparing federal and state grant applications for municipal clients.
A graduate of Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, Jerry is
presently managing the Institutional Advancement Office at Saint Joseph High School, with responsibilities for both Development
and Alumni Affairs. He is also serving as Campaign Counsel for the Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School (East Elmhurst,
NY) $4.5 million capital campaign to fund new construction and renovations. He is astute in handling special projects and
events for clients.
He is a member of the Association of Fundraising
Professionals (AFP), New Jersey Chapter and the Gift Planning Council of New Jersey. He held memberships in the New Jersey Health Care Public Relations
and Marketing Association, the Kiwanis Club of West Hudson, and served as a Board Member for the Salvation Army of Kearny.
Accomplishments:
- Managed the College of Saint Elizabeth's (Morristown)
Centennial Phase Capital Campaign as it raised $15 million in 4 years - achieving its overall $25 million goal a full
year early.
- Managed the Annunciation Center Capital
Campaign for the College of Saint Elizabeth – raising $12 million in 3 years for the construction of the first new building
on campus in 36 years.
- Planned and carried out
a series of cultivation receptions for the College of Saint Elizabeth, including events in Texas, North Carolina, Massachusetts,
Rhode Island, Virginia, and New York City.
- Resurrected
the Gift Annuity Program at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
- Developed “Project Visibility,” the initial step in organizing the Saint Joseph High School capital campaign,
which served to assemble the Steering Committee for the campaign.
- Provided professional guidance to the Saint Joseph High School Annual Fund, shepherding its growth from $45,000 to
$225,000 over an eight-year period.
- Since 2000,
provided professional guidance to the Brother Bernardine S.C. Memorial Golf Classic at Saint Joseph High School, which has
generated more than $800,000 in net proceeds for the school.
- Successful in attaining funding from various foundations for the capital campaigns at both the College of Saint Elizabeth
and Saint Joseph High School.
- Has raised $1.4 million at
Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School in a 14 month period during the silent phase of the capital campaign.
