Maria Semple provides prospect research services for SBA's clients requiring extensive research on individuals, foundations and corporations. In addition, Maria provides training workshops to help non-profits new to the field of prospect research.
Since joining Semple Bixel Associates, Inc. in 1990, Maria has participated in all of the direct fundraising services offered by the firm.
Her accomplishments include:
- Assisted clients of Semple Bixel Associates in broadening base of support for capital & annual fund efforts.
- Successful capital campaign for The Salvation Army in New Brunswick with a capital goal of $1.8 million.
- Participation in feasibility studies performed by Semple Bixel.
- Participation in executive recruitment efforts on behalf of Semple Bixel.
- Completion of intensive Grant Proposal Writing Workshop conducted by The Grantsmanship Center in New York, NY.
- Speaker for NJ Conferences on Philanthropy, Fundraising Day in New York, Association of Professionals Researchers for Advancement, and NJ Chapter of AFP.
Maria is a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.
