Segal,
senior consultant
Sarah
Kroloff Segal manages all aspects of capital campaigns such as
feasibility studies, case statement and marketing literature, campaign
planning, corporate and foundation proposals and solicitation. She
also provides a wide range of professional support to Semple Bixel
including prospect research, data analysis, marketing, writing, and
interviewing.
Ms. Segal joined Semple Bixel Associates from a career in public
sector fiscal management with ten years of professional experience in
social service organizations.
Accomplishments:

Directing the
pre-campaign phase of a $12 million campaign for the Newark Y.

Directing campaign
for a Life Skills Program for Centennial High School serving at-risk
teens throughout Union County.

Coordinating a
project for the United Way of Essex and West Hudson to launch a new
foundation aimed at fostering family stability in the Newark
community.

Managed campaigns for
the NJ Veterinary Foundation animal welfare program and the
Crossroads School Playground for children with autism.

Managed the NYC
Department of Homeless Services $115 million Ten-Year Capital Budget
and $30 million in Federal and State grants. Represented NYC in
budget negotiations with non-profit organizations to operate
homeless shelters.
Ms. Segal has worked
directly with impaired elderly, homeless and individuals with mental
illness and developmental disabilities.
Ms. Segal has an undergraduate and graduate degree from Brandeis
University. Her Master’s in Management of Human Services is from the
Brandeis Heller School for Advanced Studies in Social Welfare.
Ms. Segal is a Vice Chair of the Temple Ner Tamid $2 million Capital
Campaign in Bloomfield, NJ and is the NY area Regional Coordinator for
the Brandeis University Heller School Alumni Board.
