Victoria M. Bixel is the chief executive officer of Semple Bixel, Inc. The firm, founded in 1976, specializes in developing and implementing fund raising strategies for mid-size secular and faith based not-for-profits in the fields of education, social services, healthcare and the arts.
During her years as a consultant with Semple Bixel, Ms. Bixel has partnered with numerous non-profit organizations, directing and guiding them towards reaching multi million dollar goals and assisting them strengthening their missions, while establishing and realizing their visions.
Ms. Bixel continues to provide strategic fund raising counsel to several well-known non-profit institutions in New York and New Jersey. These include:
- Rutgers Camden – Center for Strategic Urban Community Leadership
- St. Vincent Martyr Church and School, Madison, NJ
- Center for Civic Responsibility, Metuchen, NJ
- York Street Project, Jersey City, NJ
Ms. Bixel has presented a number of Board and Development workshops to the non-profit community. She participated in the Bank of America New Jersey Non Profit Conference as key speaker for the “Fundraising: It’s a New Ball Game”presentation. Ms. Bixel recently delivered the keynote address titled “More Than Ever, It’s in Your Hands”at the New Jersey Governor’s Volunteerism Conference.
As the CEO of Semple Bixel, she oversees the management of feasibility studies as well as capital and annual giving programs. Ms. Bixel participates as a key planning partner in all of the firm’s client activities including leadership development, strategic and business planning, major gifts cultivation and solicitation, prospect research, corporate and foundation proposal solicitation, special programs and events and campaign implementation.
Ms. Bixel is currently a member of the Board of Directors of AAFRC/Giving Institute.
She was raised in Plainfield, NJ and now resides in Bloomfield, NJ.
